Front end Software Development Engineering Senior Engineer

Epitec is seeking to hire a Senior Front-End Software Engineer (React) to support a large, enterprise?scale telematics web platform for a major U.S. automaker. This role focuses on building React micro?frontends that power customer?facing applications used at scale.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience delivering modern, high?performance web applications, strong collaboration skills, and a passion for user?centric design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain React?based front?end applications for enterprise web platforms

• Build and support micro?frontend architectures aligned with enterprise standards

• Partner closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and architects

• Translate customer use cases and pain points into intuitive, user?friendly interfaces

• Create mockups, prototypes, and UI components and participate in design reviews

• Perform functional, automated, and UI testing to ensure quality delivery

• Optimize application performance, resolve defects, and continuously improve usability

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, SEO principles, and cross?browser compatibility

• Stay current on emerging UI technologies and front?end best practices

Experience Requirements

• 10+ years total IT experience

• 8+ years hands?on software development

• Proven experience delivering customer?facing web applications

• Strong background working in Agile environments

Experience Preferred

• Highly effective collaborating with technical experts, Product Managers, DevOps, Big Data, UI/UX Designers, and business stakeholders

• Experience with RESTful interfaces and OAS standards

• Comfortable with CI/CD tools and pipelines

• Experience managing backlogs, user stories, and Agile tools such as Jira

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
