They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.Primary Responsibilities:* Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.* Accurately and efficiently operate the cash register.* Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales* Support Ollie's Army and other donation programs year-round.* Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.* Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis* A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customersPhysical Requirements:* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.* Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.* Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.Ollie's is an equal opportunity employer.
