Front End Web Developer Remote Job Opportujnity 
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Front End Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain user-facing web interfaces using modern front-end development tools, techniques, and frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with responsive web development, JavaScript, WordPress, REST APIs, modern CSS frameworks, and accessibility standards. The role involves working in a collaborative environment and routinely deploying website changes and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-facing web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Build websites and web applications using HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks and libraries.
• Develop and consume web-based RESTful APIs.
• Create responsive layouts and convert static designs/mockups into functional web pages.
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and custom functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Optimize websites for performance, usability, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO).
• Ensure web applications comply with Section 508 and accessibility requirements.
• Work with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
• Collaborate with development, marketing, business, and other cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum or other collaborative development methodologies.
• Research and implement new programming tools, technologies, and development techniques.
• Work with open-source solutions and contribute to the development community.
• Create views and templates using full-stack frameworks such as Rails, Express, or Django.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for websites, microsites, landing pages, and templates.

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• Experience with CSS frameworks and technologies such as LESS, SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap, and similar tools.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as jQuery, Backbone.js, Ember.js, and D3.js.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
• Experience developing responsive websites for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and web accessibility standards.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

• 5+ years of experience with WordPress administration, development, migration, and optimization.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a lead capacity.
• 3+ years of recent experience leading website conversion projects, meetings, and direct communication with business stakeholders.
• 3+ years of recent experience working with the WordPress platform.
• Experience converting design mockups into WordPress pages.
• Experience migrating websites from other platforms to WordPress.
• Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Strong knowledge of responsive web design techniques.
• Experience with common WordPress plugins and features, including:
  • Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
  • Custom Post Types
  • Website duplication and backup solutions
• Experience optimizing WordPress website performance.
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Strong experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, SASS/SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Experience working with the WordPress REST API.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in front-end web development tools, techniques, and methods for user-facing interfaces.
• Strong experience working with new and existing microsites, landing pages, templates, and web applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
