Job Description

The Ballpark at League City is a premier recreational facility offering a diverse range of activities for youth and adults. Our facility boasts bat and ball turf fields, indoor arenas for soccer and flag football, sand volleyball courts, and a vibrant atmosphere with two restaurants serving a full menu and alcohol beverages. In addition to sport events, the facility also hosts special events, private gatherings, and provide a hub for community engagement and active lifestyles.

The Front Gate Attendant is the parks front line customer service position providing a positive and welcoming experience for all individuals arriving at the facility. This includes greeting guests, admission transactions, inspecting bags, and assisting guests with park questions.

Job Functions

The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

  • Greet park visitors and players.
  • Provide information about facilities, food and beverage options, and rules and regulations.
  • Process admission transactions including cash, card, or mobile payment and ensuring charges are accurate.
  • Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

Education, Certification, License and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED, or currently attending high school

Other Qualifications or Requirements

  • Flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends.

Any combination of education and experience, which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position, may be substituted at the discretion of the Human Resources department.

A PRN employee will work on an as-needed basis and will not have a set schedule. This position is not elgibile for our current benefits package.
