Front of House Associate / Counter Service Representative

T&B Provisions is a neighborhood caf and provisions shop serving breakfast, lunch, coffee, baked goods, and specialty foods in the heart of Niantic. We are looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals who enjoy working with people and creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in excellent customer service, and wants to be part of a growing local business.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
  
• Take customer orders and operate the point-of-sale system
  
• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and light food items
  
• Package takeout orders and assist with customer requests
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area
  
• Restock merchandise, beverages, and supplies as needed
  
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
  
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
  
• Help create a positive experience that keeps customers coming back
  

Qualifications

• Prior customer service, caf , restaurant, or retail experience preferred
  
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
  
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  
• Weekday and Weekend shifts available
