Front of the House Manager

Jazz Kitchen, located in the Downtown Disney® District of Anaheim, California, is a fast paced, high-volume restaurant celebrating the Gulf and California coasts. We have an immediate opportunity for a guest and team centric Restaurant Manager. Jazz Kitchen is known for great service, excellent food, and a strong beverage program.

Compensation: The pay scale for this role is $70,304 - $85,000 *

About the Job:

  • Direct the standards and practices of service at Jazz Kitchen.
  • Manage all Front of House positions.
  • Work closely with other managers in driving successful shifts and motivating our team.
  • Lead a FOH department that would include scheduling and driving the team to meet goals.
  • Effectively open or close physical operation.
  • Communicate with all departments including our Private Party manager, Chefs and kitchen team.
  • Assist in Beignets Expressed as needed.
  • Contribute to successfully meeting (and exceeding) guest satisfaction ratings and sales goals.

About You:

  • 3 years minimum/ 5 years preferred of restaurant management experience in an upscale concept.
  • High volume experience is highly preferred.
  • Leadership, communication, and organizational skills are a must.
  • Ability to multi-task and the flexibility to be placed in different roles throughout your shifts.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Hands-on hiring, training, and developing of hourly employees.
  • Proficient in restaurant systems and financial controls (POS = Aloha, Online platforms, Open Table reservation/ table management).
  • Ensure excellent maintenance and cleanliness of our dining rooms and building areas at all times.
  • Working ability of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Email programs).

* The pay scale is the amount we reasonably expect to pay for this position; actual pay could be higher depending on the candidate. This base salary does not include potential bonuses or benefits.
