Our Company seeks an experienced Front of House Manager to aid the GM in coordinating, directing and planning everyday business and event operations. You will help create weekly schedules, ensure a positive work environment, help exceed Guest expectations, manage daily operations, build sales and events and help with human resource needs. A successful FOM will assist with all General Manager responsibilities.

Essential Functions: Our Restaurant Managers help oversee the daily operations of their location. The ideal candidate will have a strong operations management background and must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to delegate responsibilities, organize complex projects, and establish priorities consistent with the business objectives and philosophies.
  • Assist the General Manager with the development of front of the house supervisors and other departmental positions.
  • Supports the company’s commitment to local products, sustainable and responsible food practices.
  • Develops action steps to achieve budget goals and maintains expenses within forecasted budget.
  • Successfully builds relationships at all levels of the Team, Guests, and vendors.
  • Ensure every Guest leaves happy.
  • Builds an effective, engaged, and results achieving Team.Ensures that Team Members are performing their responsibilities effectively and takes pro-active action as needed.
  • Hire, train, and supervise Team Members to ensure Restaurant is continually staffed. Reduce turnover while not sacrificing quality for the Guest.
  • Projects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of Team & Guest service at all points of contact.
  • Prepare employee schedules within company guidelines.
  • Ensure all food safety procedures, company protocols, and sanitary regulations are strictly adhered to.
  • Maintain safe working conditions.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products, and equipment.
  • Develop and negotiate private dining and event contracts that contribute towards sales and profitability goals.
  • Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary.
  • Collaborate successfully with Team to meet all company objectives.
  • Maintain, update, and communicate information on communication board.
  • Maintain company standard for operational discounts.
  • Ensure safe and responsible alcohol service.
  • Maintain and support Brand Narrative and Culture Document.
  • Foster and support a culture of recognition for successful behavior.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
General Requirements:
  • Strong passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to create unique and memorable dining experiences.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and protocols
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to lead and foster a Team oriented environment grounded by mutual respect.
  • Must be passionate about delivering an experience and demonstrate a continued willingness to learn new things that positively impact the organization.
  • Minimum of 3 years restaurant experience.
