Title: Front-of-House Leadership
Location: Chick-fil-A Outlets at San Clemente, California
Position Summary:
As a Front-of-House Leadership at Chick-fil-A Outlets at San Clemente, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and leading the front-of-house team during designated shifts. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, efficient service, and compliance with all state and federal laws. In addition to leading people and shifts, you will coordinate team member breaks in accordance with state and local laws while upholding Chick-fil-A standards of excellence. This position is a non-exempt hourly position.
Responsibilities may include:
1. Hospitality Leadership: Lead by example in providing exceptional hospitality to every guest, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
2. Guest Experience: Ensure a welcoming atmosphere and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality in the front-of-house area.
3. Shift Management: Manage shift operations effectively, including coordinating workflow, prioritizing tasks, and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise in the front-of-house area.
4. Break Coordination: Coordinate team member breaks in accordance with state and local laws, ensuring that all team members receive appropriate breaks and meal periods during their shifts.
5. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with management, team members, and other departments to coordinate activities, share information, and address any concerns or feedback.
6. Cash Handling: Oversee cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, reconciling cash drawers, and ensuring accuracy in transactions, while adhering to Chick-fil-A policies and procedures.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including labor laws, health and safety standards, and food service regulations, throughout all front-of-house operations.
8. Team Training Assistance: Support front-of-house team members as they are trained to perform their duties effectively and uphold Chick-fil-A's customer service standards.
9. Understand and Manage labor and productivity during peak and slow times
10. Know proper break times and be able run breaks (know how it affects the business)
11. Ensure proper support to the rest of the leadership and the team.
12. Know how to report a Sedgwick Claim
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a customer service or leadership role required, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, team members, and management.
4. Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
6. At least 18 years old
7. Eligible to work in the United States.
