New Village Arts is looking for friendly, dependable, and audience-focused Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is cross-trained in Box Office and Bartending and is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, live events, and working in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.
As a member of our front-of-house team, you will help welcome patrons, support ticketing and will call, serve beverages, assist with lobby flow, and contribute to a positive and memorable experience for our audiences.
What you'll do:
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons in person and by phone
- Sell and distribute tickets, assist with will call, and answer basic patron questions
- Operate ticketing and point-of-sale systems accurately
- Serve beer, wine, and other approved beverages in accordance with policy
- Check IDs and support responsible alcohol service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Restock bar and front-of-house supplies
- Keep lobby, bar, and audience-facing areas clean and organized
- Assist with pre-show, intermission, and post-show operations
- Communicate patron concerns or issues to the supervisor on duty
We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong people skills and a customer service mindset
- Is comfortable multitasking in a busy live event environment
- Can learn systems and procedures quickly
- Is responsible, punctual, and team-oriented
- Is available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
- Has prior experience in theatre, hospitality, concessions, bartending, box office, or guest service preferred
- Can meet any required alcohol or food service compliance requirements for the role
