Front of House Team Leader

Position Overview

A Team Leader is someone who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and leads with a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, strong character, take initiative, and operate with a sense of urgency.

Front of House Team Leaders support senior leadership in executing daily operations while keeping team members accountable to Operational Excellence and Chick-fil-A's Recipe for Service. They lead by example, set the tone for each shift, and help create a remarkable guest experience.

A Team Leader's two primary areas of focus are:

• Ensuring the restaurant runs effectively through strong operational execution
• Coaching and developing team members

Team Leader Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Lead shifts and support daily Front of House operations (drive-thru, counter, dining room, mobile guest)
• Provide immediate and respectful responses to guest needs
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members
• Set the tone for the shift and model Chick-fil-A hospitality
• Act as a friendly, encouraging, and motivating team leader
• Open and/or close the restaurant and serve as a key holder
• Count cash drawers and finalize daily reports
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and leadership
• Hold team members accountable to service and hospitality standards

Additional Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people and leadership skills
• Commitment to superior guest service
• Ability to address team member performance and behavioral issues professionally
• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility

Two years or more of experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or assistant manager is required.
