Morning Restaurant Team Member — Austin Peay

Schedule Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Opening shifts may begin as early as 5:00 a.m.
- Morning shifts end between 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
- Reliable availability for the schedule agreed upon at hiring is required
- Opportunity for premium pay for restaurant openers and overtime is available
- We like to keep you on a set schedule for predictability
- Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, assemble, and serve food according to Chick-fil-A quality standards
- Work with focus and urgency during busy periods
- Provide warm, genuine hospitality to every guest
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and leaders
- Follow food-safety, portioning, quality, and equipment procedures
- Operate and care for kitchen equipment, including grills and fryers
- Stock supplies and help unload and organize deliveries
- Keep the restaurant clean and safe by sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and cleaning work areas and equipment
- Support the team wherever help is needed

You do not need previous experience, but you must be willing to work hard, learn, and contribute to the team. We’re looking for people who:
- Arrive on time and ready to work for every scheduled shift
- Communicate promptly when an emergency or scheduling issue occurs
- Follow the restaurant’s shift-coverage and call-out procedures
- Bring a positive, coachable attitude
- Treat guests and teammates with honor, dignity, and respect
- Take responsibility for mistakes and use feedback to improve
- Share credit, resolve conflict professionally, and support the team
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Arrive in the complete uniform with a clean, professional appearance
- Read and follow the Team Member Handbook and restaurant policies
- Honor the availability—including mornings, nights, or weekends—that they commit to when hired
Serving others takes effort, especially during busy shifts. We need Team Members who can stay focused, maintain a good attitude, and take pride in doing their part.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand for periods of up to five hours
- Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Bend, reach, walk, and work safely around hot kitchen equipment
- Perform basic math and measurement tasks
- Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Have a great attitude
