Black Bear Talent is recruiting aFront of the House Manager to lead the front of house experience in a high energy, guest focused dining environment. This role is responsible for creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere while driving service excellence, team development, and operational consistency. The ideal candidate brings a hands on leadership style, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to build an engaged, high performing team that delivers memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all dining room operations, ensuring a seamless, high quality guest experience

• Model and reinforce company values through visible, hands on leadership

• Strategically manage front of house staffing, including servers and hosts, to meet service standards and business demands

• Own full cycle recruiting efforts for front of house team members, identifying and selecting top talent

• Design, implement, and continuously improve training and development programs for hosts and servers

• Maintain and update training materials, while developing new content aligned with menu launches and evolving service standards

• Facilitate ongoing training sessions and certify front of house trainers to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery

• Develop and execute onboarding and training schedules for new hires and newly promoted team members

• Coach, mentor, and actively develop front of house team members to drive performance, engagement, and retention

• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture built on respect, accountability, and teamwork

• Lead pre-shift lineups to communicate priorities, reinforce standards, and energize the team for service

• Partner closely with back of house leadership to ensure strong communication and a unified approach to operations

• Take ownership of the guest experience, including effective resolution of concerns through established recovery procedures

• Plan and execute special events, promotions, and holiday initiatives that enhance the guest experience and drive traffic

• Ensure all systems, processes, and operational standards are consistently executed and maintained

• Uphold high standards of food quality and service, ensuring every guest interaction reflects the brand

• Develop and manage front of house schedules that balance exceptional service levels with financial performance goals

• Contribute to overall business strategy through active participation in management meetings and team initiatives
