    Education/Certification:

    High School Diploma or GED

    Special Knowledge/Skills:

    Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing

    Proficient keyboarding, file maintenance, and 10 key skills

    Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

    Computer Knowledge

    Technical Skills, Responsibilities, and Duties

    In PSJA ISD, we hire individuals who demonstrate excellence in these technical areas as they lead others.

    Major Responsibilities and Duties

    • Types a variety of material, such as reports, memos, etc.
    • Performs clerical work with supervision.
    • Receives and routes all incoming calls if necessary.
    • Greets all visitors courteously, determines their needs, and directs or escorts them to proper person if necessary.
    • Operate a computer, printer, typewriter, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, word processing such as Word, Excel, etc.
    • Keep office/department operations confidential (use adequate discretion).
    • Work cooperatively with others.
    • Performs various related office duties as assigned.
