Salary Range: $21.00 - 26.00/hour depending on experience
 
About Us:
Southeast Pain and Spine Care is a growing, patient-centered pain management practice seeking an experienced Front Office Floater to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, enjoys helping patients, and is flexible enough to provide front office support across multiple clinic locations.
 
Position Summary:
 
As a Front Office Floater, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients while ensuring our front office operations run smoothly. Duties would include: ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, managing patient intake, and coordinating scheduling. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to different office locations and teams.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances.
  • Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Scan and upload medical records and other documentation into the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Assist with referrals and other front office administrative duties.
  • Float between multiple office locations as needed to provide coverage.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience required.
  • Experience in a specialty medical practice preferred (pain management experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, and medical terminology.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
