    We are an established oral surgery practice seeking a compassionate, organized, and professional Front Office team member to join our growing team. This role is essential to creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to confidently multitask while maintaining professionalism and empathy with patients.

    Position Summary

    The Front Office Professional is responsible for welcoming patients, assisting with insurance and financial coordination, supporting scheduling and treatment plan workflows, and ensuring accurate documentation and end-of-day processes. Experience in data analysis is helpful for operational metrics to support practice growth, patient satisfaction, and overall efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure insurance verification is completed for all scheduled patients
    • Obtain insurance breakdowns when needed
    • Welcome and assist patients following their consultation
    • Utilize insurance verification forms to calculate estimated patient responsibility
    • Present treatment fees and review financial agreements with patients
    • Verify demographics and insurance information for accuracy
    • Attach financial documents to patient charts
    • Create detailed contact notes regarding insurance and financial discussions
    • Add insurance information to patient accounts and create claims for billing
    • Communicate with surgical staff regarding additional requirements such as medical clearances or labs
    • Process treatment plans and post charges for exams and imaging
    • Create predeterminations and prior authorizations
    • Submit required documentation to insurance companies prior to appointments
    • Assist with analyzing KPIs, scheduling trends, patient conversion metrics, and other operational reports to help improve office performance and patient care

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental or medical office preferred
    • Professional communication skills and a strong customer service mindset
    • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare documentation systems
    • Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
    • Passion for patient care and healthcare excellence

    Schedule

    • Monday through Friday
    • 8-hour shifts
    • Must be local and able to commute daily

    Special Requirements

    Working on-site is essential to the function of this position.

    Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, turning, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
