The Front Office Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Front Desk and Night Audit teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience while ensuring operational efficiency and financial success. This role is a hands-on leader who develops team members, drives service excellence, and maintains the highest standards of hospitality. The right person will be team-oriented, reliable, and customer service-focused. 

Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Foster a culture of outstanding guest service by setting high expectations, leading by example, and promoting accountability.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily Front Office operations to ensure efficient workflows, seamless guest arrivals and departures, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Create and manage personnel schedules to ensure appropriate coverage while maximizing labor efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Front Desk Agents and Night Auditors through ongoing training, performance management, and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Maintain the Property Management System (PMS), including room inventory, group blocks, rate management, and reservation accuracy.
  • Monitor departmental performance, prepare occupancy, revenue, and inventory forecasts, and assist with budgeting and expense management.
  • Partner with department leaders and assist in other departments as necessary to ensure effective communication and a seamless guest experience throughout the hotel.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) on a rotating basis, providing leadership and support across all hotel operations as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience leading a team of five or more direct reports.
  • Previous hotel experience required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel Property Management Systems; Opera experience is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
