DPS is now hiring a Front Office Medical Assistant for a Dermatology Clinic in Kingwood, TX. Dean's Professional Services has partnered with healthcare facilities, government organizations, and corporations to provide job opportunities.

Front Office Medical Assistant:

Location: Kingwood, TX

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Starting Pay Rate: $18.00 Hourly (based on experience) 

Temporary to hire   

Medical Assistant Responsibilities: 

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and eligibility.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
• Answer and route incoming telephone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Obtain and update patient information, insurance cards, and required documentation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Process referrals, authorizations, and other required patient documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely communication.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant certification required

Job Requirements: 

• 1+ years of medical receptionist experience.
• Knowledgeable in patient check-in and check-out procedures
• EMA EMR experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of front and back-office clinical procedures
