Front Office Medical Assistant

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.We are seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant to support our Family Practice in Torrance, CA.Job Type: Full-Time, Direct HireHours: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-6:00pmPay: $21-23/h Responsibilities:Greet and check in patientsVerify insurance coverage and demographic informationMaintain accurate documentation in the EHR systemSchedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visitsAnswer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiriesRoute messages to appropriate staff membersCollect co-pays and patient balancesProcess patient payments accuratelyAssist with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requestsMonitor patient flow and communicate wait times professionallyComplete daily administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and stocking front desk suppliesQualifications and Skills:At least 2 years of front office experience in a clinical healthcare settingBilingual Spanish requiredAbility to work effectively with a diverse patient populationFamily Practice experience preferredOrganized and patient-focusedComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environmentMust be MA certifiedMust have CPR certificationProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer5.4 JE
