A busy, multi-disciplinary medical practice needs a full-time front-office receptionist. The receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Check patients in via the EMR system
- Collect patient demographic and insurance information and capture images of insurance cards and driver's licenses.
- Collect Co-Pays
- Balance end-of-the-day deposits
- Perform various administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry, and photocopying.
- Assist with other office duties as needed
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
