    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Dental Front Office Lead to join our Santa Monica office. The ideal candidate has strong dental front office leadership experience, advanced treatment planning knowledge, and familiarity with PPO, Denti-Cal, and HMO insurance plans.

    This role requires someone who is confident managing the front office independently, presenting treatment plans, supporting daily production goals, and leading the team effectively.

    Compensation is highly competitive and based on experience, leadership ability, and treatment-planning expertise. Higher compensation may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates with a strong track record in dental office leadership and production.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage appointment scheduling and daily office flow
    • Greet and welcome patients while overseeing recalls and follow-ups
    • Independently present treatment plans and financial options
    • Verify insurance benefits and collect patient co-payments
    • Monitor daily office production and help the team achieve established goals
    • Lead and support the front office team
    • Handle patient concerns professionally and promptly
    • Maintain accurate patient and administrative records

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Front Office Lead
    • Strong treatment-planning and case-presentation experience
    • Knowledge of PPO, Denti-Cal, and HMO insurance plans
    • Dental front office experience required
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
    • Open Dental experience preferred
    • Excellent telephone and customer service skills
    • Comfortable using computers, email, internet, fax machines, and standard office equipment
    • Available to work at least two Saturdays per month
    • Able to commute to Santa Monica, CA 90401
