JOB SUMMARY: The Front Office Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front office team to ensure an efficient, professional, and patient-centered experience. This role provides leadership and support to front desk staff, coordinates patient scheduling and check-in/check-out processes, monitors workflow, and ensures compliance with practice policies, procedures, and customer service standards. The Front Office Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for patients, providers, staff, and leadership, helping resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain smooth front-office operations. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Front Office supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing staff complaints and resolving problems. This position works in a medical office or clinic environment with frequent interaction with patients, providers, staff, and visitors. POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time salaried position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
