Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Frontend Developer. This role will focus on building user-facing web applications, improving user interfaces, and supporting modern web development initiatives for a growing U.S.-based organization.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks
- Build user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into code
- Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Debug and fix frontend issues and bugs
- Work with APIs and integrate backend services
- Participate in code reviews and development best practices
- Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Assist with improving UI/UX and user interactions
- Stay updated on frontend technologies and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred (not required)
- 0–2 years of experience in frontend development, internships, or personal projects
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Understanding of responsive design and web performance
- Basic understanding of APIs and frontend-backend integration
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Attention to detail and clean coding practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
