Description

Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Frontend Developer. This role will focus on building user-facing web applications, improving user interfaces, and supporting modern web development initiatives for a growing U.S.-based organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about web development and wants to build a strong foundation in frontend engineering.

The Frontend Developer will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to create responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing web applications.

This role is ideal for candidates interested in frontend development, web development, UI engineering, or software engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern frameworks
  • Build user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into code
  • Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Debug and fix frontend issues and bugs
  • Work with APIs and integrate backend services
  • Participate in code reviews and development best practices
  • Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code
  • Assist with improving UI/UX and user interactions
  • Stay updated on frontend technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred (not required)
  • 0–2 years of experience in frontend development, internships, or personal projects
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Understanding of responsive design and web performance
  • Basic understanding of APIs and frontend-backend integration
  • Familiarity with Git or version control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Attention to detail and clean coding practices
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
