Old Town Catering Company is looking for a skilled, dependable Fry / Prep Cook to join our high-volume catering kitchen!
We prepare thousands of meals each week for schools, businesses, and special events throughout Albuquerque. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in preparing quality food, and thrive as part of a team, we'd love to meet you.
Pay:
$16–$20 per hour (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare fried menu items with consistency and attention to quality
- Operate commercial fryers safely and efficiently
- Maintain proper food temperatures and food safety standards
- Keep the fry station clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with food prep and other kitchen duties as needed
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared on time
Qualifications:
- Fry cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
