McGee’s 72 is hiring a full-time Fry Cook to work the fryer station. This is an entry-level kitchen position that plays an important role in rounding out our dishes — from appetizers to sides to entrées — so plates leave the line complete, consistent, and on time.
Position
Full-time, primarily evening shifts
Includes weekends and some holidays
Fryer station that supports appetizers, sides, and entrées
What you’ll do
Set up, stock, and break down the fryer station each shift
Batter Atlantic cod, boneless wings, onion rings, croquettes, and risotto tots to order using our recipes and procedures
Cook fries and all fried items to proper doneness so appetizers, sides, and entrée plates are complete and consistent
Watch cook times and temperatures so food comes out hot, crisp, and on time
Keep your station clean, organized, and follow basic food safety steps
Communicate with the rest of the line and expo to keep tickets moving and plates built correctly
Who this is for:
No previous fry cook experience required — kitchen or fast-food experience is a plus, but not required
Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment
Shows up on time, takes direction, and wants to learn and grow on the line
Can stand for the shift and lift up to 25–30lbs as needed
