This is a registered nurse opportunity in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) role based in Panama City, FL. The hospital is a 238-bed acute care facility that is home to the only Pediatric ER in the community, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region. The facility is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation, certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, and accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center.
The role. The FSED RN delivers professional nursing care through the full nursing process — assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and outcome evaluation — in a freestanding emergency department setting. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, the nurse exercises independent clinical judgment, develops individualized patient care plans, and monitors progress toward expected outcomes. The role requires vigilance around patient safety, including timely reporting of significant medical errors or unanticipated outcomes that result in patient harm. The nurse also contributes to the professional growth of peers and integrates current research and evidence-based findings into everyday practice.

Compensation. $29.92 - $44.88/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
