Description:

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a FSQA Manager in Omaha, NE area!

Responsibilities:

  • Balance key priorities including quality, productivity, cost efficiency, safety, and team morale to drive overall performance
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of operation
  • Provide regular updates and progress reports to management
  • Foster strong employee relations through effective communication, coaching, and development
  • Make informed staffing decisions and resolve employee issues through structured problem-solving
  • Conduct thorough accident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and timekeeping accuracy
  • Achieve operational objectives by planning, assigning, and evaluating work; setting clear expectations; and coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as needed
  • Build and maintain a strong team by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and training employees while supporting their professional development
  • Manage workflow by overseeing process variables, monitoring operations, and ensuring efficient use of resources and personnel
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems, identify process improvements, and implement corrective actions and cost-saving measures
  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork both within and across departments
  • Ensure equipment reliability by evaluating new machinery and coordinating maintenance or repairs for existing equipment
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and support decision-making
  • Train and guide employees on proper equipment usage, operational procedures, and resource management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Quality Assurance Certification in SQF, HAACP, and GMP
  • Must have USDA experience
  • Must have prior QA knowledge and certifications
  • Must be flexible with work schedule to meet the needs of operations
  • Prior experience in manufacturing facility
