Essential Functions
Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am).
Documentation: Ensures food safety documentation meets legal/regulatory requirements, including documentation of corrective actions.
Compliance: Monitors production processes and performs routine checks to ensure compliance with food safety and quality programs.
Process Control: Ensures processes are in control and products meet company standards.
Product Disposition: Directs product disposition, including inventory control and reconditioning procedures.
Sanitation: Verifies sanitation practices through pre-operational equipment inspections.
Communication: Communicates with production/maintenance personnel/supervision to resolve quality and food safety issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
1-3 years of experience in food processing.
Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs is preferred.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Detail-oriented and proficient in mathematics.
Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in various temperatures.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
