FSQA Technologist
The FSQA Technologist is responsible for supporting food safety and quality assurance programs for restaurants and suppliers. This position collects and addresses guest and operator complaints related to food safety and quality. The FSQA Technologist supports the product monitoring program and assists with corrective actions follow up to ensure ingredients meet company standards and specifications. This position also supports projects designed to improve product performance, reduce costs, and simplify processes at the restaurant level.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the Product Monitoring Program by identifying and correcting quality and safety issues before shipment, evaluating ingredients, and preparing monthly performance reports with corrective actions. May also oversee the Foreign Objects Program by tracking incidents, coordinating supplier follow-ups, and addressing operator and guest concerns.
- Supports food quality incidents in the FoodLogiQ portal, including restaurant, supplier, and distribution center investigations and corrective actions.
- Conducts supplier and restaurant visits to ensure FSQA compliance; supports kitchen tests for new partners and/or assists in the Supply Chain Auditing Program, auditing suppliers and distributors for food safety and quality standards. Prepares evaluation reports with performance feedback, and reviews corrective action plans for effectiveness.
- Supports FSQA Category manager in ensuring food safety and quality assurance for food ingredients and processes.
- Assists with projects designed to improve product performance, reduce cost, and simplify processes at the restaurant level.

Your background & experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, or related field required
- 3+ years of experience in food quality and safety, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
- Trained and certified for HACCP and/or PCQI; experience with quality control and quality assurance programs. Examples HACCP, GFSI, ISO, etc.
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
Pay Range: P2: $72,500 - $101,500 / Annual
*Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
