Precision Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program Coordinator to support a local housing authority in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will help individuals and families work toward economic independence and homeownership by connecting them with valuable community resources, educational opportunities, and supportive services.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and enroll participants into the Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program.
  • Conduct participant assessments and develop individualized action plans.
  • Assist participants with goal setting and monitor progress toward self-sufficiency.
  • Connect participants with community resources, social service agencies, workforce development programs, and educational opportunities.
  • Complete recertifications, rent adjustments, and moving voucher processes.
  • Monitor participant escrow accounts and homeownership readiness.
  • Coordinate workshops, service provider events, and educational programs.
  • Develop outreach materials including flyers, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Present FSS program information during housing briefings and community events.
  • Assist with planning and executing annual homeownership events.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HUD and agency requirements.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Relations, Marketing, Communications, Human Services, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and social service programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Interest in serving low- to moderate-income individuals and families.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Ability to obtain HUD Certified Housing Counseling and HCV Housing Specialist certifications within 12 months of employment.

Additional Requirement:

Applicants currently enrolled in a housing voucher program are not eligible for this position.
