Job Title: Community Programming Assistant
Pay: Starting at $18/hour
Location: State College, PA
Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 hours)

The Arc of Centre County is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Community Programming Department, including Home and Community Services (HCS), Community Participation Support (CPS), and Supported Living programs.

This is an administrative position focused on documentation, compliance, reporting, and operational support. This position is not responsible for providing direct care to individuals served by The Arc of Centre County.

Schedule & Pay

  • Starting pay: $18/hour
  • Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Required Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Human Services, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience required
  • Experience in human services, healthcare, or another regulated environment preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to obtain required physical and TB test

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative support to the Community Programming Department
  • Review and maintain service documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting requirements
  • Support billing and Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) processes
  • Maintain organized and confidential records
  • Compile data and generate reports for leadership
  • Support communication between staff, Supports Coordinators, and other stakeholders
