Essential Job Functions

Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures TVs marble surfaces windows trim ceiling vents and fans.

Cleans rooms hallways lobbies lounges rest rooms corridors elevators stairways escalators offices and other work areas.

Sweeps scrubs waxes and polishes floor.

Cleans rugs carpets upholstered furniture and draperies.

Dusts furniture and equipment.

Polishes metalwork.

Washes walls ceiling and woodwork.

Washes windows door panels and sills.

Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.

Transports trash waste and recyclable materials to disposal area.

Replenishes bathroom supplies.

Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

High school education or general education degree GED.

Six months related experience or training preferred.

Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Advanced knowledge of building systems technology required.

Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays

Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands

Regularly required to walk see use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Frequently required to balance and stoop kneel or crouch.

Occasionally required to talk and hear.

Must frequently lift andor move up to 50 pounds.

Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor.
