The Wisconsin Virtual Academies (WVA) are three public charter schools authorized by the McFarland School District and powered by Stride K12, Inc. (Wisconsin Virtual Academy, Insight School of Wisconsin, and Destinations Career Academy). Our mission is to provide equitable, personalized learning opportunities for students no matter where they are, who they are, or what they need. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and organized candidate for a full-time High School Social Studies Teacher position at Destinations Career Academy. Destinations Career Academy of Wisconsin (DCA) is an innovative, tuition-free online school for grades 9-12 that combines core academics with industry-relevant, career-focused electives-giving students a jump-start on their college and career goals. While working toward their high school diplomas, students can choose from a variety of courses in high-demand career fields. Students can participate in career-oriented clubs, gain workplace skills, and prepare to take industry-recognized certification exams in their chosen career path upon graduation.
Position Overview:
Destinations Career Academy of Wisconsin is seeking a full-time, certified Broadfield Social Studies Teacher. Well-qualified candidates will hold a current license in this area or be willing to pursue licensure(s) that will enhance the classroom experiences for students.
