We are seeking Certified Surgical Technologists to join a dedicated Surgical Services team at a community-based hospital in beautiful Port Angeles, Washington. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for surgical techs who enjoy a collaborative environment, a broad case mix, and being part of a close-knit surgical team.
Position Overview:
As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures across multiple specialties. This position is well-suited for candidates who value hands-on experience, teamwork, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a smaller hospital setting.
Schedule:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Typical shifts include:
6:45 AM 3:15 PM
8:45 AM 5:15 PM
10:45 AM 7:15 PM
Compensation:
Certified CST: $30.89 $45.57/hour
Non-Certified Surgical Tech: $27.37 $41.51/hour
(Compensation based on experience and certification status)
What Youll Do:
Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments
Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
Assist surgeons during operations across multiple specialties
Anticipate surgical needs and ensure patient safety
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
National CST certification strongly preferred
Non-certified candidates will be considered if they have completed a technical program and have relevant experience
Prior surgical technologist experience required
Multi-specialty OR experience preferred
