Janitorial Supervisor – Mechanicsville, VAServiceMaster Services | Full-Time, Days | $20/hrWe're looking for a hands-on Janitorial Supervisor to lead a cleaning crew at a Mechanicsville office building. You'll split your time between cleaning alongside your team and making sure the crew, the schedule, and the client relationship all run smoothly.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (40 hrs/week) Location: Mechanicsville, VA (301 & 295 Interchange area)What You'll DoLead the crewDirect staff through daily, weekly, and project cleaning tasksTrain and mentor team members, and keep them motivatedSet clear expectations and take corrective action when neededServe as the main point of contact for client requests and concernsStay hands-onPerform cleaning duties yourself, including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and restroom careExecute the building's cleaning plan efficiently and cost-effectivelyWalk the facility to confirm it's client-ready at the end of each shiftWhat You'll NeedAuthorized to work in the U.S.18 years or older (supervisory role)Prior experience leading or training a team preferredStrong communicator - you'll be the bridge between clients, building occupants, and staffComfortable making judgment calls with limited oversightA track record that shows accountability and work ethicPhysically able to be on your feet a full shift - walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and lifting throughout the dayWhy ServiceMaster ServicesProudly serving Virginia since 1974, we're the go-to name in daily janitorial services across the Richmond area.
