Job Summary:
Reporting to the Dean of the Divinity School, the SUDS Director of the Congregational Leadership Certificate Program is responsible for the overall development of congregational associations and social networks to create online/Hybrid digital leadership academies. The Director will provide visionary leadership for long-term sustainability of partnerships with the Divinity School to generate certificate-driven revenue for an endowment that supports tuition scholarships for Shaw University Divinity School students. This person will function as a lead person in a shared leadership structure that includes a program manager and a program success coordinator. He/she will provide visionary leadership for high-quality leadership training for Congregational Leadership Academies that provide scalable certificate programs toward advanced theological education. The position may include serving in an adjunct teaching role or as administrative faculty. The Director will work closely with the Dean of the Divinity School to ensure a successful alignment with the overall mission of SUDS in recruitment, marketing, and community-building events and activities.

Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day. Some lifting (up to 25 pounds occasionally), bending, and carrying. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
