FT DSD Receiver

As a Full-Time Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Receiver at Food Lion in Hilton Head, SC, your primary responsibility is to ensure the accurate and efficient receipt of products delivered directly by vendors. Key duties include:

• Product Receiving: Verify and accept DSD products, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality by cross-referencing deliveries with purchase orders and invoices.
• Inventory Management: Maintain organized storage of received products, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with management to address stock discrepancies.
• Vendor Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for vendors during delivery times, addressing any issues related to product quality, delivery schedules, or discrepancies.
• Compliance Adherence: Follow all company policies, food safety regulations, and security procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Documentation: Accurately record delivery details, discrepancies, and product conditions, and report findings to management as necessary.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in receiving, inventory management, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
