Position Title FT Instructor - Biology Job Duties

Butler Community College is seeking a full-time biology faculty member to teach a variety of biology courses. Current teaching responsibilities primarily include face-to-face instruction in Anatomy and Physiology and Pathophysiology, with courses offered in afternoon and evening formats on the El Dorado campus. Additional teaching assignments may include introductory biology, microbiology, and other biology courses based on departmental needs. Faculty may also teach online or at other Butler locations.

Prospective candidates must be skilled in a variety of instructional techniques and technologies, with a demonstrated commitment to student engagement and learning outcomes assessment. The successful candidate will value teaching a diverse community college student population and contributing to a collaborative academic department. Faculty teaching load and related duties are assigned in accordance with the Master Agreement.

Required experience

Prior teaching experience.

Required educational background

Master's degree with at least 18 hours within discipline.
