Full-time live-out nanny needed for a professional family in Darien CT with 1 child, age 2.5 years old. Second child is due end of December 2026

Location: Darien, CT

Compensation: $32 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday - Wednesday, 7:30am - 6:15pm

• Thursday & Friday, 9am - 4pm

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Driving the child to and from activities (child is in a 2’s program). Family will provide a job for on-the-job use

• Preparing meals for the child (preparing meals for the parents as well is appreciated but not required!)

• Laundry for the parents and child

• Run occasional errands for the family

• Light child-related housekeeping, including tidying play spaces, cleaning up the kitchen after cooking meals for the child, folding laundry for the parents, etc (as time allows)

• Engage the child in entertaining and developmentally appropriate activities

• Once the baby comes, supporting the mom with any baby-related care needs

• Maintain routines for the child, helping to maintain a smooth household rhythm

Must-haves:

• Comfortable with dogs (family has a 20lb dog). No pet care required

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• CPR/First Aid certified

• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Agency Requirements:

• Intent to make a long-term commitment to a role

• Willing to be paid via payroll

• Candidates should have a valid US driver’s license and have a clean driving record

• 21+ years of age

• Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified/renew certification upon hire

• Minimum of a high-school diploma

• Willing to participate in a criminal background check and social media check

• Legally authorized to work in the US

• Have a relevant job history with outstanding references
