    Job Description

    FT Pre-Admissions LPN

    Physicians Surgery Center of Chattanooga is a Joint Commission-accredited, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a service-focused environment. Our modern facility includes 4 operating rooms and 2 treatment rooms, supporting specialties such as GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, and retina. As a physician-owned center, we foster strong clinical collaboration to ensure exceptional surgical outcomes.

    As a Pre-Admissions Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients are fully prepared for their upcoming procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting pre-operative assessments and screenings
    • Reviewing patient medical history and ensuring all necessary clearances are obtained
    • Educating patients and families on pre- and post-operative care
    • Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
    • Active LPN license in the state
    • BLS Required
    • Experience in pre-admissions, pre-op, PACU, or a hospital setting preferred
    • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
    • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
    • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
