Massage Therapist Job Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

• Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Designs specific sessions based on members or guests’ individual needs.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Performs hot/salt stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Utilizes other approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Communicates various promotions to clients.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Follows all practice policies and protocols.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Performs other duties as assigned.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    
    <\/p>

    • Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and body work.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Must have current Florida Board Massage Therapy License.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Open to learning new products and techniques.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
