Description Summary Responsible for providing proactive, holistic, and student-centered support to help students succeed academically, socially, and personally. The Success Coach will provide learning opportunities and create conditions that lead to the achievement of students' academic and career goals. The Success Coach will also monitor student persistence and progression towards graduation or completion utilizing appropriate advising technology.

Knowledge & Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide one-on-one coaching sessions focused on academic planning, program requirements, time management, goal setting, and personal development. Monitor academic progress and intervene early when students show signs of academic difficulty or disengagement. Inspire, coach, and advise a caseload of assigned students and track outreach, meetings, and progress. Accurately document, maintain, and track all student interactions, information, and progression through the Customer Relations Management system and other student information systems. Collaborate with SEM team, faculty, tutors, and other student service areas to support retention, persistence, and graduation goals. Provide guidance and referrals to students for appropriate services, including tutoring, counseling, financial aid, and career services. Use data analytics to identify at-risk students and develop strategies to support them. Participate in orientation, registration, and other campus events related to student engagement and success. Stay up to date on best practices in student coaching, advising, and support through professional development. Maintain knowledge of federal and institutional policies and regulations pertaining to Federal Title IV, tuition assistance, VA (Veteran Affairs) benefits, payment plans, and billing system.

Education Minimum: Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Experience Minimum: Two years of experience in an educational setting.

Ability to multitask and organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks through completion with an attention to detail. Ability to listen to issues, synthesize information, and reach sound conclusions.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and other software as deemed necessary.
