    Description

    Responsibilities Job Summary: As a Fuel Construction & Infrastructure Manager, you will plan, budget, coordinate, and supervise all fuel related construction and infrastructure support projects from start to finish within compliance of local, state, and federal regulations. You will evaluate and select vendors; evaluate new products and equipment; be responsible for bid assessments and project (Capex) management; serve as point of contact for all related fuel infrastructure assessments and collaborate with inter-department stakeholders. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Manages project scheduling and compliance, including accountability for permits Coordinates with all Facility Alliance departments, H-E-B business units and governing agencies Controls cost with a focus on cost reduction; prepares and manages all reports relevant to work scope and projects Completes data analysis and process improvement creation Qualifies / bids / administers projects; may be directly accountable for 10 or more concurrent capital projects Serves as General Contractor for H-E-B Fuel & Energy Marketing The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Work Experience: 5-7 years experience in fuel / car wash facilities and infrastructure support - Industry Veteran a Plus Project Management software (ProjectMates or equivalent) a Plus Significant fuel / car wash systems / construction experience from design to startup Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills - High attention to detail and tech-savvy; ability to multitask and prioritize tasks - Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills - Ability to provide multi-million-dollar Capital Project management with a high degree of working independently - High level organization, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills - Ability to maintain and build strong relationships with stakeholders and handle confidential and sensitive information - Education: Required - Bachelors Degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering or equivalent Licenses/Certifications: P.E. License a Plus Other relevant certifications a Plus Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Function in a fast-paced office environment Travel by car or plane with overnight stays Regularly lift 20 lbs. or more Work extended hours and / or rotating schedules The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
