+$2.00 per hour Weekend Shift Differential

Fuel Desk Cashier

As a Fuel Desk Cashier, you'll be one of the first people our guests meet. You'll create a welcoming experience by providing outstanding customer service, accurately handling transactions, and helping keep our travel plaza clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Position Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with a smile and provide exceptional customer service.

• Promote products through suggestive selling.

• Operate the cash register accurately while handling cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.

• Operate the lottery/lotto terminal.

• Follow all company cash handling and operating procedures.

• Comply with all federal, state, county, and local alcohol and tobacco regulations.

• Stock merchandise and maintain attractive product displays.

• Keep shelves, coolers, and sales areas fully stocked and organized.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms.

• Clean windows, entry doors, and cooler doors.

• Empty trash inside the store and throughout the fuel lot.

• Replace fountain drink syrup boxes as needed.

• Learn product locations and pricing to better assist guests.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Work cooperatively with teammates and management.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

• Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for guest service.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Dependable and punctual.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Ability to perform light to moderate physical work, including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, stocking, and cleaning.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Commitment to maintaining respectful working relationships with coworkers and guests from diverse backgrounds.
