Fuel Dispatcher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fuel Dispatcher to join our team. As a Fuel Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the transportation of fuel products to various locations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of fuel while maintaining accurate records and communicating with drivers and customers.

Duties:
- Plan and schedule the transportation of fuel products to meet customer demands
- Coordinate with drivers and carriers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery
- Monitor fuel inventory levels and forecast future needs
- Maintain accurate records of fuel transactions, including quantities, locations, and delivery times
- Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations and improve efficiency
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) for data entry, tracking, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning and logistics processes
- Familiarity with freight operations and supply chain management
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Experience with shipping and receiving procedures
- Knowledge of SyteLine or other inventory management systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for effective dispatching and customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
