Your Responsibilities and Duties
Operate a fuel and lube (service) truck to fuel and service diesel-powered equipment and trucks in the field - diesel fuel, DEF, lubrication, and greasing Check and top off routine fluids: engine oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, DEF, and washer fluid Perform scheduled preventive maintenance by equipment hours: engine oil and filter changes, fuel/water separator and air filter changes, and gear oil service (transmission, differential, final drive) at the service interval Inspect for leaks at differentials, final drives, and hydraulics; service when leaking or due Perform routine maintenance and servicing on the lube truck, including daily pre- and post-trip inspections Maintain and accurately record daily fuel logs Work with on-site supervision to support job needs for fuel, oils, supplies, and minor equipment maintenance Coordinate and communicate needed equipment and vehicle repairs Follow safe fueling and spill-response practices and comply with all federal and state commercial driving (FMCSA/DOT) rules and regulations Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications and Skills
Current and valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with tank and hazmat endorsements Current DOT medical certificate High school diploma or certification in a skilled trade Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Pass pre-employment drug screen
