Fuel Supervisor
Fuel Operations & Logistics

Position Summary
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Fuel Supervisor supporting a mission-critical government operations program in the Marshall Islands.

The Fuel Supervisor is responsible for leading, directing, and training fuel operations personnel while overseeing the safe receipt, storage, transfer, quality control, inventory management, and distribution of aviation and ground fuels. This position provides operational leadership for fuel facility activities, ensuring compliance with military and industry standards while maintaining safe, efficient, and uninterrupted fuel support operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory experience within bulk fuel storage and fuel servicing environments and demonstrate expertise in fuel quality assurance, inventory control, system maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, train, and mentor Fuel Supply Technicians in daily fuel operations.
  • Provide operational oversight and leadership during afternoon and midnight shifts as required.
  • Manage all phases of fuel receipt, storage, transfer, and issue operations.
  • Oversee tank gauging, fuel inventory management, accountability, and reconciliation activities.
  • Conduct and supervise fuel quality testing and analysis in accordance with industry and military standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ATA Specification 103, MIL-STD-3004-1, ATP 4-43, and established operating procedures.
  • Perform and oversee daily system inspections and operator maintenance activities.
  • Monitor fuel systems, tank farms, pipelines, alarms, and associated equipment for abnormal conditions.
  • Review fuel receipt schedules and coordinate tank capacity requirements to support operational demands.
  • Maintain operational documentation, reports, inventory records, and quality assurance documentation.
  • Provide daily operational status reports to management.
  • Conduct safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Identify operational risks, equipment deficiencies, and potential safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Support workload balancing, shift coverage, and operational continuity requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support in a mission-focused operational environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience supporting bulk fuel storage and/or mobile fuel servicing operations.
  • Experience with petroleum sampling equipment, aviation fuel sampling procedures, ground fuel sampling procedures, and fuel testing.
  • Working knowledge of fuel handling equipment, fuel distribution systems, and applicable regulations.
  • Experience with automated fuel gauging systems, high/low-level alarms, and cathodic protection systems.
  • Ability to perform fuel quality testing and analysis in accordance with industry standards and established procedures.
  • Ability to calculate inventory gains, losses, adjustments, and fuel accountability metrics.
  • Proficiency with computers and standard business software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Valid Passport with a minimum of 12 months validity remaining from deployment date and at least six (6) blank passport pages prior to mobilization.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CAC eligibility and access to U.S. military installations.
  • Ability to meet medical qualification requirements for overseas deployment and maintain medical readiness throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. military fuel operations.
  • Experience supporting overseas or remote-site operations.
  • Knowledge of aviation fuel systems and fuel farm operations.
  • Previous experience supporting government services or contingency logistics programs.
  • Experience supervising multi-shift operational teams.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $97,000 - $99,000
