Description


We are seeking a Fuel Truck Driver / On-Site Fueler to support company projects throughout the southeast. This role is responsible for safely transporting and dispensing diesel fuel, greasing heavy equipment, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks on construction sites. This role ensures compliance with all DOT, EPA, OSHA, and company safety standards while maintaining accurate fueling logs and equipment records.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in demanding outdoor environments.

Work is performed outdoors in all types of environmental conditions. This role involves strenuous physical activity for extended periods under varying and sometimes adverse field conditions.

Physical requirements include the ability to:
  • Lift, carry, and push/pull heavy materials
  • Stand and walk on uneven surfaces
  • Climb, kneel, bend, and twist
  • Reach above shoulder height and perform repetitive motions

Key Responsibilities


  • Safely operate a fuel truck to transport diesel fuel to construction job sites
  • Dispense fuel and grease heavy equipment on-site
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance of the fuel truck
  • Assist mechanics with maintenance and minor repairs of heavy equipment as needed
  • Follow all DOT, company safety, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain accurate fuel logs and documentation
  • Support team operations and adapt to changing project needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Works well in a team environment
  • Some mechanical experience required; experience with construction equipment preferred
  • Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds
  • Ability to work in high temperatures and dusty conditions
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel

Licensing Requirements:
  • Class B CDL required
  • Hazmat & Tanker endorsements required
