Fueler

Position Overview:

As a Fueler, you are responsible for ensuring that all tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers are fueled at all times. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Accurately recording and documenting fuel dispersalLoading and unloading diesel fuel while staying compliant with state and federal regulationsTaking samples and monitoring fuel levelHandling all pertinent records accurately and legiblyReporting all safety issues promptlyFollowing directions in print form and/or by computerized displayMaintaining a safe and clean working environmentFlexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPerform other duties as assigned by leadership

Schedule:

Sunday- Thursday10:00 pm- 6:30 am$24 per hour$5.00 shift differential

Experience:

CDL-A License required (Valid & Active) with Tanker and Hazardous Materials Endorsements21+ years or older

Skills:

Safety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies; drive for accountability of safe practices throughout the shift; secure adequate rest between work assignments, and abide by all DOT regulationsPhysical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting, and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights, including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature-controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment - getting on and off equipment throughout the shiftStrong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders dailyOrganizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders promptly; ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesWorking in a team-based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders in a timely manner and with the highest qualityQuality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives
