Fractional Controller Part-Time –Client Advisory Services

Position Overview:

As aController at CEFO Advisors, you get to showcase your value and skills while working with multiple clients. Managing their accounting staff, creating efficiencies, workflow guidelines, and implementing improvements are all in a day's work. You will collaborate with ourCFO teamto adviseour clients on strategy and accountability, and will help create budgets, forecasts, and models to ensure clients have the roadmap to run a great business.

Job responsibilities:

  • Reviewing financial information and/or data entry.
  • Closing month-end.
  • Recording recurring journal entries such as payroll and depreciation.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts.
  • Defining client-centric reports.
  • Developing and maintaining 13-week cash flow forecasts.
  • Implementing efficiency and best practices.
  • Supervising client and/or CEFO staff.
  • Developing workflow processes.
  • Developing banking relationships and successfully arranging lending programs.
  • Identifying and correcting existing pain points.
  • Working hand in hand with clients to develop their future strategic plans along with milestones to success. Some clients work with EOS. Experience and understanding of the EOS principles and program is a plus.
  • Preparation and/or review of projection models.
  • Preparing and analyzing client assessment reports.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience at the Controller level.
  • Ability and acumen to coach and mentorstaff.
  • Ability to managemultiple clients and balance priorities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills required. Must understand and be willing to adapt to a changing role and be comfortable working in a team dynamic with a variety of personalities. Client service is key.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience working with QB, Sage products, and other ERP systems. Ability to quickly adapt to different client systems is necessary.
  • Experience with new system implementation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities and budgets.
  • Confidentiality and promptness are of utmost importance.
  • A strong desire to help clients succeed and the empathy required to understand their challenges is critical to your success in this role.
  • Strong technology skills and familiarity with various software and online tools.
  • CPA is a plus!
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Compensation and Benefits-

  • $45 to $55 per hour.
