Job Summary:

Kent Hospital, an affiliate of Care New England, is seeking a full time Surgical Oncology Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our robust surgical team in Warwick, Rhode Island. This provider will be an integral part of the department that is built on the premise of collaborative, team-oriented providers with intersecting skills and interests that include providing quality medical care.

  • Full-time Monday -Friday daytime work schedule
  • Job responsibilities include:
    • OR 1st assist
    • Inpatient management & consults
    • Procedures
    • Outpatient clinic
  • Work alongside experienced, reputable, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers
  • Regular mentorship and collaboration amongst providers
  • EPIC implemented system wide

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Certified by NCCPA or ANCC or AANPCB
  • Active Rhode Island PA, CSR, and DEA license or eligible.
  • 1+ years of colorectal surgery or surgical specialty experience preferred
